Bahé is a British-founded footwear brand I’ve been meaning to talk about properly for a while. I first heard about them through people in the barefoot community, so when I eventually started working with the team, I already felt like I was in safe hands. From the moment I connected with them, I warmed instantly – the whole team is genuinely lovely, and Alex in particular felt like someone I had a surprising amount in common with (parenting, shoes, life in general!).

I’ve tried several of their models over the years, from boots and sandals to their original foot-shaped Revive trainers, and it’s been amazing to see how far the brand has come. What stands out most to me, though, is their willingness to grow, learn, and adapt based on real feedback. Their new Modes range is a perfect example: one model offered with three different sole thicknesses, giving people genuine choice without losing the design integrity or philosophy behind the shoe. It’s thoughtful innovation, and it’s exciting to watch.

Bahé were also one of the early supporters of the UK’s first Barefoot Shoe and Foot Health Expo, which meant a great deal to me. And while they don’t market themselves as the most minimal footwear brand on the market – they offer a range of minimal to more maximal styles as part of their unique Modes concept – they hold a very deserving place in this industry, offering something to suit everyone. They bring something different, and I’m really looking forward to seeing where they take things next.

Aesthetically, I absolutely love their colour palette. It fits my natural tones perfectly (my first pair were the Sandstone Revive trainers, and they’re still a favourite). There’s something genuinely rewarding about supporting a small British brand with a unique story, a grounding-focused philosophy, and so much energy behind what they do – perhaps the grounding really does help!

What makes Bahé special is that they’re not just making shoes; they’re creating a connection between movement, body, and the earth in a mindful, sustainable way. I love being able to share that with my audience while wearing footwear that feels functional, stylish, and thoughtfully designed.
